Moggy was born a stray. As a days old Litten, he fell into a gutter on a heavily rainy day, causing his fire abilities to vanish completely. His dark type abilities developed higher than usual, in compensation.
As a Torracat, Moggy was given his pink bow by a little girl he met by her bedroom window. The child was bored from staying in her room all day, and since she was too weakened to go outside due to cancer, Moggy used to secretly keep her company next to the window; she passed away a year after she met the Pokémon.
The Pokémon kept wandering in the city, looking for friends and a shelter, and decided to stay in an abandoned industrial park, where he eventually evolved into an Incineroar as years went by.

Moggy is also Larkspur’s self-proclaimed bodyguard, he follows her everywhere she goes.
