Poubelle was born and raised to be a model Furfrou, her trainers being professional Pokémon groomers. Due to her being a "shiny", one of the rarest Pokémon species, she was being pressured more than any other model Furfrou. The stress eventually became impossible to manage, her fur began to fall, and when she was labeled as "too ugly to compete", her trainers abandoned her in an unknown city and never came back.

Since then, Poubelle hasn’t been much of a social creature. No one really likes her due to her pretty distasteful personality, so humans and Pokémon alike prefer avoiding her either way… but she can be seen side-eying domesticated Furfrou’s every now and then.
She feeds off suspicious restaurant leftovers and lives in an abandoned industrial park, where she despises every stray, especially that one Purugly…
